Tim Woernley III, DDS was born in Cherry Point, NC and raised in Houston, TX. He graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2014. While in dental school he was the President of Butler Society and ranked top 10 in his class.
He matched with the University of Texas Houston for his oral surgery training. During that 4-year residency, he developed a passion for trauma patients and the underserved.
After graduation, he went on to become board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and had the privilege of staying on as an Assistant Professor for The University of Texas Houston Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program. There, he has had the opportunity to treat complex cases while mentoring oral surgery residents. He has full credentials at Memorial Hermann (Medical Center), Ben Taub, L.B.J., and Methodist (Medical Center) Hospitals.
Outside the office, Tim has completed several Ironman 70.3 and hopes to one day make it to the World Ironman Championship. He also enjoys camping, fishing, and golf. However, his true passion is spending time with his wife and three children.
